About the Empire Axe

Introduced by Empire Paintball, the Axe is a standout marker known for its lightweight design and tournament-ready performance. Evolving into the Axe 2.0, it boasts upgrades like a 10% lighter frame, improved barrel accuracy, and a weather-resistant foregrip, making it a favorite for woodsball and speedball players alike.

Key Features

  • Anti-Chop Eye System: Break-beam technology ensures smooth, jam-free firing.
  • Shockwave Board: Multiple firing modes (Semi, Ramp, Burst, Full Auto) for versatility.
  • Relay ASA: On/Off regulator for easy tank removal.
  • Driver XX Barrel: Two-piece design for superior accuracy.

Why It Stands Out

Compared to the Empire Mini GS, the Axe offers a larger, more ergonomic frame and enhanced accuracy, ideal for intermediate to advanced players. Its low-pressure operation (180 PSI) is gentle on paint, and the tool-less bolt system simplifies maintenance, making it a top choice for reliability and performance.

FAQs

Popular upgrades include the Hopper upgrades (for capacity and sight window), Response Trigger Kit, and Flatline Barrel for improved performance.

Yes, its durability, reliability, and ease of use make it an excellent choice for new players and rental scenarios.

Both will work on the A5, but the bottles are different. make sure you have a way to get your bottle filled. This may determine which one you use.

The A5 uses the cyclone feed system. There are several aftermarket options available, but note that only cyclone hopper work with the Cyclone feed system. These "wide opening" hoppers are unique to this system and they do not work on anything other than a Cyclone.
