Paintball Hoppers / Loaders and Accessories

43 products

Paintball hoppers, also called loaders, supply paintballs to your gun for shooting.

  • The type of hopper you require will vary based on your paintball marker.
  • Gravity-fed loaders work well with basic mechanical guns, providing a slower rate of fire and using mechanical kickback to move balls into the gun.
  • For higher-end markers with faster firing rates, agitated and force-fed hoppers are necessary.
  • Cyclone feed systems, such as those on A-5 or X7 markers, demand specific cyclone hoppers that can attach to the feed.

Terminology / Buying Guide - The More You Know:

  • Paintball Loaders and Paintball Hoppers often refer to the same item. It's the container that holds paintballs, usually on top of the gun, before they are fired. They come in various sizes and shapes and definitley price levels.
  • Paintball Loaders and Paintball Pods often refer to the same items that are the tubes that you carry extra paint in. Often these will be in a pack on your back.
  • As you can see, "Paintball Loaders" can sometimes mean a hopper for feeding paint or a pod for loading paint so we try to stick to the terms "Hoppers" and "Pods"

Gravity Fed Hoppers:

The most basic is a Gravity fed loader. These just mount to the top of the paintball gun and you fill it up with paintballs and go play. The draw back is that paintballs can get in the way of themselves preventing from dropping into the breech. In order to solve this, you just shake your paintball loader, but as you were shaking, you could have missed a shot.

Agitated Hoppers:

These will stir up the paintballs so that you do not have to shake your loader to feed the paintballs.

Force Fed Hoppers:

If you need even more serious firepower to get insane rates of fire, upgrade to a force fed loader. These will force the paintballs into your paintball gun.

Paintball Hopper Accessories:

We also have a ton of upgrades and accessories to make your hopper even faster, better, or just add some personalization.
