The R2 is the next generation of the wildly popular Dye Rotor. Its most distinguishable change is the pop up shell design, this allows the base capacity to be 200 rounds, but can pop up and be expanded to 260 instantly. Another major change is the 15% larger lid opening. One feature that carries over from the previous versions is the tool-less design that allows you to change batteries or clean the internals of the hopper on the fly. The R2 has a spring loaded lower floor to improve the feeders reliability. The R2 is customizable in its settings, as it features dynamic force control, as well as adjustable drive tension. The hopper weighs a light 1.1 lbs (without batteries). It is powered by three AA batteries.
