A genuine Tippmann / US Army push spring style sear designed for reliability, proper fit, and long service life.
The Tippmann Push Spring Style Sear, is a genuine Tippmann replacement component designed for Tippmann and US Army markers that use a push spring sear system. This is the new style sear and is manufactured to the exact material and dimensional specifications required for proper operation.
There are two commonly encountered versions of the push spring sear. An older version without a spring retention nub and a newer updated version that includes a molded nub to positively locate and retain the push spring. These versions are fully interchangeable. If your marker currently uses the older push spring sear, it can be replaced one-for-one with this newer version with no modifications required.
This is a genuine manufacturer part. Aftermarket and knockoff sears often fail to meet Tippmannβs material hardness and tolerance standards, which can lead to premature wear, inconsistent trigger operation, or mechanical malfunction.
A worn sear or worn rear bolt can cause the marker to rapid fire uncontrollably, similar to a machine gun but too fast to function correctly. The marker may also fail to stay cocked. These issues occur when the rear bolt slips off the sear instead of being held securely in the cocked position.
If either the sear or the rear bolt shows signs of wear, Tippmann recommends replacing both components at the same time. Replacing only one part may result in accelerated wear and the need for additional repairs.
Part number 02-35, also known as Tippmann part number 11785, is designed for non E-Grip markers only. This sear is not compatible with pull style sear bodies.
