This stem is what the rear bolt hits to open the valve.
Compatibility and Tech Notes:
- For the X7:
- If you have the original 02-V valve (valve body = 1 & 15/16" long) then this is the correct part for you.
- If you have the 02-V v2 valve (valve body = 2" long) then you should get the TA10052 valve stem. The 98-PL stem came with 02-V v2 valves. However, the 02-V v2 valves were upgraded in the X7 to the TA10060 valve which used a longer valve stem # TA10052 for better velocities. You can 'do the upgrade your self' by buying the TA10052 valve stem for your 02-V v2 valve.
- If have installed a new valve body on your X7, or your gun is new since April 2013, then you would need the new longer TA10052 valve stem.
